The inaugural Families in Business National Summit will take an unprecedented look into the challenges, dynamics and opportunities of being part of a Family and owner Managed Businesses.
Within the theme of Beyond Business, the two day event will deliver an inspirational, stimulating programme packed with insights, best practice and practical guidance to take a fresh look at the world of family enterprises and private businesses.
The Summit’s programme includes presentations from thought-leaders and entrepreneurs from the world of business, headline speakers with inspiring and emotional stories to tell, as well as panel discussions, debates, master classes, and fully interactive workshop sessions involving family and private business leaders, advisers and professionals.
The event will also see Families in Business unveil a suite of new theories and tools for both business and life, and reveal the full findings of its 2016 Annual Survey of Family and Owner Managed Enterprises.
The event is ideal for family executives, founders, shareholders, owner-managers, non-family executives, and family members not involved in the business, as well as professional advisers and intermediaries.
The historic, unique and luxury venue Heythrop Park has been carefully selected as the location for FiB’s first-ever Summit.
Set in 440 acres of stunning Oxfordshire countryside Heythrop Park is itself a family-owned and run enterprise. The spectacular venue will be put to full use throughout the Summit’s two-days with Day One including a Drinks Reception and prestigious Gala Dinner for all delegates to enjoy.

She explains that FiB’s inaugural Summit is more than a conference: “The programme will offer a host of different forums for learning, for personal development, for supporting individual beliefs and behaviours that impact how individuals relate both in and out of their business and organisation, whether they are owners, managers or advisers. It will be a genuinely unique two day event.”
